By now, many UK businesses have taken the chance to upgrade their franking machine to an all new Mailmark complaint franker. With Royal Mail announcing the release of Mailmark during March 2014, many customers have decided to take advantage of this low cost alternative service. Customers can now save even more money when franking mail when using the Mailmark Prices 2014.

The new Mailmark compliant franking machines will replace the traditional town and crown dies with a brand new 2D barcode. Before, franking machines were franking in red or blue franking ink, but now this is changing so all machines frank in smart blue franking ink to meet the Royal Mail franking requirements.

The new Mailmark Prices 2014 have been announced by Royal Mail for the year. As usual, the frank prices are much lower than the stamp prices, allowing you to save money. For example, the cost of a 1st Class Standard Mailmark letter weighing no more than 100g will cost you just 49p. A 1st Class Standard Stamp for the same letter will cost you 62p. This allows a saving of 13p per letter. This is just one example of the savings that can be made by using the Mailmark Prices 2014.
