How to enable Accounting on your machine

To Activate accounting please follow the following simple steps:

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message “Account Type: OFF”.

5. Select display message “Standard”.

6. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to turn off Accounting on your machine

To Deactivate your account please follow the following simple steps:

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message “Acct Type: Standard”.

5. Select display message “Turn Accounting OFF”.

6. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to Create an account on your machine

To Create your account please follow the following simple steps:

Note: The accounting function has to be activated for you to be able to create an account. Should you wish to assign a password to your account these steps are not relevant.

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message “Create New Account”.

5. Now key in the desired name of the account you’d like to create. You need to use the keyboard located underneath the front cover. Select Accept and then Done when complete.

6. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to edit an Account Name or Password on your machine

To Edit your account please follow the following simple steps:

Note: In case you have assigned a password to your account(s) the Instruction described below may change.

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message Edit Accounts”.

5. Select the account you would like to edit. You may need to use the Page Down key to locate the desired account.

6. You are able to edit the account name, number and password (if assigned). Select Done when complete.

7. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to delete an Account on your machine

To Delete an account please follow the following simple steps:

Note: Please be aware that once an account has been deleted you will not be able to retrieve the account or its information.

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select Delete Accounts.

5. Select the account you would like to delete. You may need to use the Page Down key to locate the desired account.

6. Display shows “Proceed to delete xxxxx?”. Select either Yes or No.

7. Display shows “Do you want to delete another account?”. Select either Yes or No.

8. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to clear a single account total

To Reset a single account please follow the following simple steps:

Note: Please observe that once reset an account cannot be restablished.

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Select display message “Accounts”.

3. Select display message “View/Clear Account Totals”.

4. Select display message “Clear these totals”.

5. Display message shows “Proceed to clear totals for xxxxxx?”. Select Yes, Clear.

6. Display shows “Do you want to view/clear another account total?”. Select either Yes or No.

7. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to clear all account totals

To Reset your all your accounts please follow the following simple steps:

Note: Please observe that once reset an account cannot be restablished.

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Press the Page Down key.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Press the Page Down key.

5. Select display message “Clear All Account Totals”.

6. Display message shows “Proceed to clear all account totals?” Select “Yes, Clear all”.

7. Display message shows “Totals for all accounts cleared”. Select OK.

8. Press the Home key to return to the home screen.


How to print an account report for a single account

To Print a single account report please follow the following simple steps:

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Select display message “Reports”.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message “Single Account”.

5. Select the account you would like to print for. You may need to use the Page Down key to locate the desired account.

6. Display message shows “Insert envelope or press Tape”. Feed an envelope into the machine or press the Tape key.

7. Display shows “Do you want to print another report?”. Select either Yes or No.

8. The machine returns you to the home screen.


How to print an account report for all accounts

To Print an account report for all accounts please follow the following simple steps:

1. Press the Options key once.

2. Select display message “Reports”.

3. Select display message “Accounts”.

4. Select display message “Multi Account Summary”.

5. Display message shows “Insert envelope or press Tape”. Feed an envelope into the machine or press the Tape key.

6. Display shows “Do you want to print another report?”. Select either Yes or No.

7. The machine returns you to the home screen.


How To Enable, Disable, Or Change The Supervisor Password

The Supervisor Password prevents unauthorized access to the postage refill operation and to setup procedures. Follow these steps to enable or disable the supervisor password:

1. Press Menu.

2. Select Setup.

3. If necessary, press the green down arrow button to scroll through the menu screens.

4. Select Lock Code/Password.

5. Select Enable or Disable Password.

6. Enter the new supervisor password and select Accept.

7. Re-enter the new supervisor password and select Accept.

8. At the Password Enabled message, select OK.
