The franking machines comes with a set of standard graphic images that you can add to your envelopes or tapes when you print your postage. Graphic ads are also known as ads, slogans or logos. Examples include PLEASE OPEN IMMEDIATELY, RECYCLE and Season’s Greetings.
You can also add your own custom graphics to your franking machine.
Before you begin: Weigh your envelope, select a class, and select any special services required.
1. Tap the “Graphics” icon on the Envelope Printing screen.
2. Select the graphic you want from the list of available graphics.
3. Tap “Apply”.
4. To verify that the envelope prints correctly, feed the envelope through the machine.
Your device allows you to add a custom text message to your mail. This can be a return address, for example. Your message can be up to five lines, with 20 characters per line. The message prints on the left side of the print.
1. On the Home screen, tap “Envelope Printing”.
2. Weigh your envelope, select a class, and select any special services required.
3. Tap “Graphic”.
4. Tap “Custom Text”.
5. Tap “+ Add”.
6. Your message must comply with the postal rules for your country. Tap “Accept & Continue” to proceed.
7. Enter a name for the message and tap “Save”. The name can be up to 20 characters.
8. Enter the message.
9. When finished, tap “Apply” twice.
10. To verify that the envelope prints correctly, feed the envelope through the device.
