How do I clear a “Connection Due” or “Connection Required by Post” message on the SendPro P Series?
The “Connection Due” or “Connection Required by Post” message means the machine must connect to the Data Centre, as required by the Post Office. Connect to clear the message and restore normal use.
- Connect your franking machine to a network line, or to a USB cable for PC Meter Connect or a Communication Device.
- Select Connect Now, or have the machine check the PbP balance. You do not have to add funds to clear this message.
- If there are any pending downloads, complete them now.
If the issue is not resolved, contact your franking machine supplier with your model number ready.
How do I resolve connection error codes on the SendPro P Series?
If your SendPro P Series machine shows a connection error code (such as 0180610013, 0187610002, 0195610012, 0197210006 and similar long numeric codes), you have a connection problem. To resolve it, check the network cable, restart the machine and confirm your firewall is not blocking it.
- Clear the error.
- Check for green/amber or orange/amber lights where the network cable plugs into the machine. If you see lights, the cable is connected; if not, make sure both ends are plugged in securely.
- Restart the machine: select the Gear in the lower-right of the Home screen, select Shut Down, then Shut Down on the pop-up. Unplug the network cable from the left side, wait for the display and blue light to go out (this may take a few minutes), press the Power button, and once fully booted reconnect the network cable.
- Clear any errors and test the connection.
- Review the SendPro P Series networking technical specifications and make sure your network firewall is not blocking the machine.
If the issue is not resolved, contact your franking machine supplier with your model number ready.
Can I configure a wireless connection on the SendPro P Series?
Wireless (Wi-Fi) is not user-configurable on the SendPro P Series. If your settings have changed, contact your franking machine supplier with your model number ready.
How do I fix a “Private IP not available” message on the SendPro P Series?
If your SendPro P Series displays “Private IP not available” and takes over 10 minutes to start up, an internal setting is incorrect. Contact your franking machine supplier with your model number ready to resolve this.
