How to download and install the latest Royal Mail postage rates on the Mailsend Lite franking machine.

How do I download the latest postage rates on the Mailsend Lite?
Run a balance check to prompt the machine to download and install the latest Royal Mail rates.
- Check the system is connected as for a normal postage refill.
- At the main screen (date on display), press the Funds key.
- Use the review Down key to scroll to ‘Check balance available?’.
- Press the Yes/Enter key – the machine connects to the infrastructure and shows ‘Checking account balances’.
- It shows your prepaid balance. Press Yes/Enter to continue.
- When asked to refill postage, press No.
- The machine checks for updates and shows ‘System update required – please wait’. Press Yes/Enter to download and install the new rates.
- When it shows ‘Download complete’, press Yes/Enter, then press Yes/Enter again at ‘Rate data installed’.
- When asked to print a download report, press No – the machine returns to the main screen with the new rates installed.
Note: Around a rate change the servers are busy. If the update does not complete, try again or run it outside peak times.
