How to add and change slogans, ERAs, the date and the print offset on the Quadient IN600 imprint, and how to set your default imprint.
What is on the IN600 franking imprint?
The IN600 imprint has three sections: the ERA (the indicia or postal mark), the slogan, and the stamp die. You can change the slogan, ERA, date and position for each mailing, and set defaults that apply automatically.
How do I add or change a slogan on the IN600 imprint?
Choose a slogan for the current mailing from the Imprint menu.
- Press Menu.
- Select Imprint and press OK.
- Select Slogan and press OK.
- Select a slogan from the list, or None to print no slogan.
- Press OK to validate – the imprint screen updates.
Note: To set the default slogan, go to Default User Settings → Default Imprint Parameters → Slogan (Supervisor).
How do I add or change an ERA on the IN600 imprint?
Select the ERA for the current mailing from the Imprint menu.
- Press Menu.
- Select Imprint and press OK.
- Select ERA and press OK.
- Select an ERA from the list, or None to print no ERA.
- Press OK to validate your selection.
Note: To set the default ERA, go to Default User Settings → Default Imprint Parameters → Default ERA (Supervisor).
How do I change the date printed on the IN600?
After 5pm the machine automatically advances the date to the next working day – confirm Yes when prompted. You can also set the date manually.
- Press Menu.
- Select Imprint and press OK.
- Select Date and press OK.
- Select the mailing date you want from the list – the tick shows the current selection.
- Press OK to apply.
Note: A supervisor can set the automatic date advance time and working days under Default User Settings → Default Imprint Parameters → Automatic Date Advance.
How do I move the imprint (print offset) on the IN600?
Add an offset to move the imprint away from the edge when printing on thick envelopes with rounded edges.
- Press Menu.
- Select Batch Settings and press OK.
- Select Print Offset and press OK.
- Select the offset – none (0mm), offset 1 (5mm) or offset 2 (10mm) – and press OK.
- Press the Home button to return to the home screen.
Note: To set the default offset, go to Default User Settings → Base Settings → Print Offset (Supervisor).
How do I manage slogans on the IN600?
Slogans are managed from Option And Updates → Update Slogans in Supervisor mode, where the list shows the installed slogans and the default.
- Display the list: Option And Updates → Update Slogans.
- Modify a name: select the slogan, press EDIT / DEL, choose Edit, change the name and press OK.
- Delete: select the slogan, press EDIT / DEL, choose Delete and confirm.
- Download new slogans: select a slogan, press OK, then Check For Updates to connect to Online Services.
How do I manage ERAs and PPIs on the IN600?
ERAs and PPIs are managed from Option And Updates in Supervisor mode.
- ERAs: Option And Updates → Update ERAs – display the list, or select an ERA and press EDIT / DEL to rename or delete it.
- PPIs: Option And Updates → PPI Management – display the list, select Add New to load a PPI from a USB key, or select a PPI to delete it.
How do I set the default imprint on the IN600?
Defaults are applied automatically to every mailing and are set from Default User Settings → Default Imprint Parameters in Supervisor mode.
- Default rate: Default Imprint Parameters → Default Rate (set with the rate wizard).
- Default ERA: Default Imprint Parameters → Default ERA.
- Default slogan: Default Imprint Parameters → Slogan.
- Default PPI: Default Imprint Parameters → PPI.
- Automatic date advance: Default Imprint Parameters → Automatic Date Advance.
