How do I enable accounting on the DM300M?

To enable accounting on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu and set the Account Type to Standard.

  1. Press the Options key once.
  2. Press the Page Down key.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Select Account Type: OFF.
  5. Select Standard.
  6. Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.

How do I turn off accounting on the DM300M?

To turn off accounting on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu and select Turn Accounting OFF.

How do I create an account on the DM300M?

To create an account on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu, select Create New Account, and key in the account name using the keyboard under the front cover.

Note: Accounting must be activated before you can create an account.

  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Select Create New Account.
  5. Key in the desired account name using the keyboard located underneath the front cover. Select Accept, then Done when complete.
  6. Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.

How do I edit an account name or password on the DM300M?

To edit an account name or password on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu, select Edit Accounts, and choose the account you want to change.

Note: If you have assigned a password to your account(s), the steps below may differ slightly.

  1. Press the Options key once.
  2. Press the Page Down key.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Select Edit Accounts.
  5. Select the account you would like to edit. Use the Page Down key to locate it if needed.
  6. Edit the account name, number and password (if assigned). Select Done when complete.
  7. Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.

How do I delete an account on the DM300M?

To delete an account on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu, select Delete Accounts, choose the account and confirm.

Note: Once an account is deleted you cannot retrieve the account or its information.

  1. Press the Options key once.
  2. Press the Page Down key.

  5. Select the account to delete. Use the Page Down key to locate it if needed.
  6. The display shows “Proceed to delete xxxxx?”. Select Yes or No.

To clear a single account total on the DM300M, open the Accounts menu and select View/Clear Account Totals, then Clear these totals.

Note: Once cleared, an account total cannot be re-established.

  1. Press the Options key once.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select View/Clear Account Totals.
  4. Select Clear these totals.
  5. The display shows “Proceed to clear totals for xxxxxx?”. Select Yes, Clear.
  6. The display shows “Do you want to view/clear another account total?”. Select Yes or No.

  6. The display shows “Insert envelope or press Tape”. Feed an envelope or press the Tape key.

  5. The display shows “Insert envelope or press Tape”. Feed an envelope or press the Tape key.
  6. The display shows “Do you want to print another report?”. Select Yes or No.
  7. The machine returns to the Home screen.

How do I enable, disable or change the supervisor password on the DM300M?

To manage the supervisor password on the DM300M, open Setup and select Lock Code/Password, then enable or disable the password. The supervisor password prevents unauthorised access to the postage refill operation and setup procedures.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Setup.
  3. If necessary, press the green down arrow button to scroll through the menu screens.
  4. Select Lock Code/Password.
  5. Select Enable or Disable Password.
  6. Enter the new supervisor password and select Accept.
  7. Re-enter the new supervisor password and select Accept.
  8. At the “Password Enabled” message, select OK.

How do I view the piece count on the DM300M?

To view the piece count on the DM300M, press the Funds button — the display shows the total number of items the machine has franked during its lifetime.
