Royal Mail is increasing Signed For stamp prices for parcels from 5 October 2026.
Signed For letter and large letter stamp prices are not changing, and every Signed For Mailmark franking price is unchanged.
The 7 April 2026 prices apply right up to 5 October 2026.
The part that matters if you send Signed For parcels
Today, a Signed For small parcel costs £7.05 whether you use a stamp or frank it. There is no saving either way.
From 5 October the stamp price rises to £7.50 while the franked price stays at £7.05. Franking a Signed For parcel starts saving 35p to £1.45 each. On letters and large letters franking already saves up to 44p, and that is unchanged.
What is Royal Mail Signed For?
Royal Mail Signed For adds a signature on delivery and delivery confirmation on top of a 1st or 2nd Class service. It costs a flat fee on top of the standard postage price: £2.00 for letters and large letters, and £1.60 for parcels. That fee is not changing on 5 October 2026. It includes compensation up to £50.

Should you frank Signed For mail?
On letters and large letters, franking has always been cheaper, saving up to 44p per item. On parcels there was no difference until now. From 5 October 2026 franking saves on Signed For parcels too, between 35p and £1.45 depending on class, size and weight.
