Mailcoms were recently asked by Huntington Community Primary School to help and support their sports department. In line with many of the government initiatives Mailcoms understand the importance of sport and activity amongst our children and were very keen to assist in this area.

Mailcoms have provided various types of sports equipment to include netball balls and nets, footballs, bands, water bottles, cones etc…

Des McManus, Mailcoms Director said “As a keen sportsman myself supporting the school in this way was an honour. It was an absolute delight to spend time with the children using the equipment we’ve provided and to see how much fun they were having whilst at the same time helping their fitness. This is certainly something we will continue to support in future years to come.”

Des McManus keeps himself busy outside work training for various types of endurance events, culminating in his recent success of winning the summer Tough Guy competition. In addition he also finds time to offer his services as a volunteer Army Commando and has successfully passed the world famous Royal Marine Commando Course at Lympston in Devon to wear the coveted green beret!
