How to download, select and manage envelope messages, logos and ads on the Mailcoms Mailsend Speed franking machine.

How to Download a new Envelope Message/Logo on the Mailsend Speed

To download a new envelope message or logo on to your franking machine, simply follow the below instructions.

1. From the home screen, click on “SendPro Apps”.

2. Click on the Rates and Updates button.

3. The franking machine will now connect to the server to download the logo. This may take a few minutes.

4. Once the update is complete go back to the home screen.

5. Select “Envelope Printing” option.

6. Click the add graphic function located on the image of the franked impression.

7. Your new message/logo will appear here if it has successfully downloaded.

Selecting a logo and saving it as a default

Watch this video to learn how to select a logo and save it as a default on your franking machine.

To select a logo and save it as a default, follow the instructions below:

1. From the home screen select “Envelope Printing”.

2. Click onto Graphic (Pencil) icon.

3. Select your desired logo from the list provided.

4. Click “Apply”.

5. To alter the return address, click back into the Graphic (Pencil) icon.

6. Select “Customer text”.

7. Choose your desired return address or click “Add” to make a new one.

8. Click “Apply”.

9. To default your print, select the Star icon.

10. Click the bottom item to “Replace default preset”.

11. Press the blue “Replace default” button to confirm.

12. Your logo has now been successfully saved.


Adding a graphic to your envelope in Envelope Printing on the Mailsend Speed

The Mailsend Speed franking machines comes with a set of standard graphic images that you can add to your envelopes or tapes when you print your postage. Graphic ads are also known as ads, slogans or logos. Examples include PLEASE OPEN IMMEDIATELY, RECYCLE and Season’s Greetings.

You can also add your own custom graphics to your Mailsend Speed franking machine.

Before you begin: Weigh your envelope, select a class, and select any special services required.

1. Tap the “Graphics” icon on the Envelope Printing screen.

2. Select the graphic you want from the list of available graphics.

3. Tap “Apply”.

4. To verify that the envelope prints correctly, feed the envelope through the machine.


 

Adding a custom text message to your mail in Envelope Printing on the Mailsend Speed

Your device allows you to add a custom text message to your mail. This can be a return address, for example. Your message can be up to five lines, with 20 characters per line. The message prints on the left side of the print.

1. On the Home screen, tap “Envelope Printing”.

2. Weigh your envelope, select a class, and select any special services required.

3. Tap “Graphic”.

4. Tap “Custom Text”.

5. Tap “+ Add”.

6. Your message must comply with the postal rules for your country. Tap “Accept & Continue” to proceed.

7. Enter a name for the message and tap “Save”. The name can be up to 20 characters.

8. Enter the message.

9. When finished, tap “Apply” twice.

10. To verify that the envelope prints correctly, feed the envelope through the device.
