How to Send Back Your Empty Quadient iX-3 & iX-5 Ink Cartridges

You can return your empty Quadient (formerly Neopost) iX-3 and iX-5 franking ink cartridges to Mailcoms for responsible recycling – simply post them to our recycling centre in Cannock. Mailcoms was the first company in the UK to offer refilling and recycling of franking machine ink cartridges, so your empties are reused rather than sent to landfill.

Why send back your empty cartridges?

Even an “empty” franking cartridge holds ink residue along with mixed plastics and metals, all of which are better recycled than binned. Returning your used iX-3 and iX-5 cartridges to us keeps that waste out of landfill and is a quick, hassle-free way to dispose of them responsibly.

Which cartridges we accept for recycling

As well as the Quadient iX-3 and iX-5, we currently accept the following cartridges for recycling:

• Quadient (formerly Neopost): IS-280, IS-330, IS-420, IS-440, IS-480, IN-300, IN-600, IN-700, iX-1, iX-3, iX-5 and iX-7.
• FP Mailing: Postbase Mini and Postbase series cartridges (excluding Vision and Fusion).

FAQs

Can I recycle my empty Quadient iX-3 and iX-5 cartridges with Mailcoms? Yes. Post your empty iX-3 and iX-5 cartridges to our recycling centre at Units 7-8 Primary Point, Progress Drive, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS11 0JF and we will recycle them for you.

Should I throw old franking cartridges in general waste? We do not recommend it. Used cartridges contain ink residue and mixed materials, so recycling them is the more responsible option.
