What is Inview Accounting?
Inview Accounting is made up of two management tools — Total Postage Management and Total Meter Reporting — that work together to provide real-time information and help you make cost-effective decisions about your postal usage and expenses.
Total Postage Management
This financial management function lets you centrally fund, pay and report postage for:
- Postage meters
- Permit mail, including Express Mail and Business Reply Mail
- Presort processed mail
- Mail service providers

Total Meter Reporting
This easy-to-use reporting tool lets you:
- View and report on postage meter funds and usage
- Consolidate and group meters across the enterprise
- Track daily or monthly spend, or class of service, by pieces or value
- Easily create ad-hoc reports without IT involvement
- Access postage meter departmental accounting data on the web

How do I run reports with Inview Total Meter Reporting?
To run reports with Inview Total Meter Reporting, sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account portal, launch Total Meter Reporting, then choose your report type, meters and time period.
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- Find Inview Total Meter Reporting and select Launch (>).
- Select a report type from the Welcome screen.
- Choose your report from the drop-down list.
- Choose your meter(s) from the drop-down list.
- Choose your report time period.
- Select Run to run your report.
- Select Print to print your report.
- Select Export to… to export your report.
Note: The data for the postage reports is compiled monthly and does not become available until the month ends. Inview Total Meter Reporting is an optional feature — contact Mailcoms for information about options and pricing.
How do I turn off Inview Accounting on the Mailbase?
To turn off Inview Accounting on the Mailbase, open Turn items ON/OFF from the Options menu, set Accounting to OFF and upload the accounting data.
- Press Options.
- Press Page Down.
- Select Turn items ON/OFF.
- Select Accounting.
- Turn Accounting OFF.
- Select Upload now to upload the accounting data.
- Select Continue.
- You return to the Home screen. Press Options.
- Press Page Down.
- Select Turn items ON/OFF.
- Select Accounting.
- Turn Accounting OFF. You return to the Home screen.
How do I turn off Inview Accounting on the Mailbase+ and Mailbase Speed?
To turn off Inview Accounting on the Mailbase+ and Mailbase Speed, open the Accounts menu, set the account type to OFF and connect to upload the accounting data.
Important: If the supervisor password is enabled, you may need to enter it to access all of the accounting functions.
- Press Options.
- Press Page Down.
- Select Accounts.
- Select Acct Type: INVIEW.
- Select Turn Accounting OFF.
- Select Connect Now to upload the accounting data.
- When “Data Upload complete” appears, select Continue.
- When “Usage data uploaded” and “Accounting data uploaded” appear, press Enter.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
