How to add credit, check your balance, unlock the meter and set credit warnings and a crediting PIN on the Quadient IN600.
How do I add credit to the IN600?
Add postage by connecting to the postal server from the My Credit menu. The machine must be connected to the network, and only pre-paid credit from your account can be loaded.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select My Credit.
- Select Add Credit.
- If prompted, enter your PIN code and press OK.
- Enter the amount to add (in multiples of 10, between £10.00 and £50,000.00).
- Press OK to connect to the postal server – a success message confirms the credit has loaded.
How do I check the credit on the IN600?
The remaining credit always shows at the bottom of the home screen, and you can view a full breakdown from the My Credit menu.
- Press Menu.
- Select My Credit.
- Select Credit Information to view credit used and credit available.
How do I unlock the IN600 meter?
The postal service requires the meter to connect periodically. If it has not connected for a while it locks, and an Audit call reconnects and unlocks it.
- Press Menu.
- Select My Credit and press OK.
- Select Audit and press OK to confirm.
- The machine connects to the postal server and unlocks the meter on success.
How do I set credit warnings and a crediting PIN on the IN600?
From Default User Settings (Supervisor) you can warn on high-value frankings, warn on low funds, and require a PIN before credit is added.
- High-value warning: Default User Settings → Base Settings → High Value – enter an amount, or 0 to disable.
- Low-funds warning: Default User Settings → Credit Settings → Low Funds Threshold – enter an amount, or 0 to disable.
- Crediting PIN: Default User Settings → Credit Settings – enable or disable the PIN and set the code.
