How do I clear a mail jam on the IN300 / IN360?
If mail jams in the base, lower the transport belts to release it.
- Pull the release handle underneath the base to lower the transport belts and wheels, and hold it.
- With your other hand, remove the jammed envelopes.
- Release the handle to return the belts and wheels to position.
How do I clean the mail path and fill the moistener on the IN300 / IN360?
Clean the path sensors regularly to prevent misfeeds, and keep the moistener topped up so envelopes seal.
Clean the sensors:
- Wipe the sensors with a damp cloth, or 70° alcohol on a cotton applicator.
- Let the parts dry, then close all covers and assemblies.
Fill the moistener:
- Remove the moistener from the table.
- Fill it with water up to the limit marks.
- Put the moistener back into place.
How do I change my address on the IN300 / IN360 (update registration)?
If your business moves, contact your franking supplier first to update your details. They will send a USB key and instruct you to run the update registration procedure with the machine connected to the network.
- Log in as supervisor and press Menu.
- Select Maintenance and press OK.
- Select Processes and press OK, then press OK to confirm.
- Select Update Registration.
- Connect the USB key when prompted and press OK.
- Select the new town die and press OK.
- Type your registration PIN if asked, then press OK to connect to postal services.
- Press Back when the call finishes, then press OK to accept the displayed geocode.
How do I log in and out of Supervisor mode on the IN300 / IN360?
Supervisor mode is needed to configure the machine, manage accounts and run certain reports. You must exit Supervisor mode before printing postage.
- Press Menu.
- Select Supervisor and press OK.
- Type the supervisor PIN code and press OK.
Note: To exit, press the power key – the system sleeps and logs the supervisor out.
How do I clear a ‘PSD Locked’ message on the IN300 / IN360?
A PSD Locked message clears once the machine reconnects to the postal server with an audit call.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Online Services.
- Select Generic Call.
- Press the Home button.
- Press the Coins button.
- Select Audit – the PSD Locked message clears.
How do I adjust the IN300 / IN360 display, sound and time settings?
Everyday preferences are set from the Preferences and Machine Settings menus.
- Display contrast: Menu → Preferences → Contrast – use the arrow keys, then OK.
- Beeps: Menu → Preferences → Sounds – tick Beep on key and/or Beep on error, then OK.
- Time and date: Supervisor → Machine Settings → Date And Time → Audit Call to adjust automatically.
What other quick functions should I know on the IN300 / IN360?
A few handy everyday functions:
- Emergency stop: press the Stop button to halt the run process immediately.
- Reset batch counters: Menu → Batch Settings → Start Batch Counters – select the counter and press OK.
