Mailbase Envelope Messaging Support
1. Press Options once.
2. Press the Page Down key ▼ twice and select “Connect Data Centre”.
3. Select display message “Uploads & Downloads”.
4. The following messages will successively appear “Dialling please wait …”, “Connecting please wait …”, “Update Required. This S/W is required for further use. Get Update now”. Select Get Update Now.
5. Display says “Update 1 of 3 0%” (percentages are counting up).
6. Display says “Install Updates. Do not turn off the system”.
7. Display says that the process has been finished now. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

1. From the home screen page down once.
2. Press the “AD” option.
3. Press “Select an Ad”.
4. Page up and down to find you required logo. Press on the log you require to print.
5. The machine will return to the home screen and will be ready to print the logo.
Please Note: This will not save the logo and you will need to select it every time you turn the machine on. If you want to save the logo, please follow the next steps.
6. From the home screen press the “Custom presets” button.
7. Select “Define Normal Preset”.
8. The machine will ask if all the current values are correct. Press Yes/enter.
9. This will now save the logo onto the machine.
10. Once the machine displays successfully created press continue.
11. Press the “clear” button to return home.
12. The logo will now be saved as a default.

Note: This function does not belong to the standard of your machine, but may be implemented on request after installation. It allows you to print any Envelope Message text (formerly text message) you wish beside franking. Please observe you can print an Envelope Message text or your Envelope Message image (formerly logo). This feature is only available on some models.
1. Starting from the home screen use the Page down key ▼ to scroll and select “Text None”.
2. Select display message “Create a Text Msg”.
3. Select the general note that will appear on the display.
4. Display will show message “Text Messages may consist of 5 lines of 20 characters”. Select “Start”.
5. Display will show message “Enter line 1 of text”. Enter the Envelope Message text as you wish by pressing the numerical keys to obtain the desired letters. When you have completed the first line select Enter to continue.
6. Carry on completing each line of desired Envelope Message text until you have finished your message. If you have completed your message but only entered up to four lines of text select Done. If you use all five lines the machine automatically takes you to the next step.
7. Once you have finished the display will say “To save this text enter name”.
8. Enter a name for your Envelope Message text. You can choose the letters by pressing the number keys several times. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.
9.You can create another text message or select Quit if completed.
Note: Please be aware that you will be required to select your Envelope Message text (formerly Text Message) before you are able to save it.
1. Select “Custom Presets”.
2. Select display message “Define Normal Preset”.
3. Display says “Are all the current values correct?”. Confirm by pressing “Yes: Store Preset”.
4. Display will show message “Please Wait”.
5. Display will show message “Preset 0 – Normal Preset successfully created”. Select “Continue”.
6. Select the “Clear” key to return to the home screen.
To Select your Envelope Message Text please follows the steps below:
1. Starting from the home screen use the Page down key ▼ to scroll and select “Text None”.
2. Select display message “Select a Text Message”.
3. Use the Page down▼ / Page up ▲ keys to scroll and select your Envelope Message text (formerly text message).
To Delete your Envelope Message Text please follows the steps below:
1. Starting from the home screen use the Page down key ▼ to scroll and select “Text None”.
2. Use the Page down key ▼ to scroll and select “Delete a Text Msg”.
3. Use the Page down▼ / Page up ▲ keys to scroll and select the Envelope Message text (formerly text message) you wish to delete. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.
4. You can delete another text message or return to the home screen press the Clear key.
